Hall of Fame 2019 Nominations Start December 15th

The Baton Rouge High School Hall of Fame The original BRHS Hall of fame originated in the mid-1970’s, just after BRHS transformed into a magnet high school. According to an archive Advocate newspaper article, the founding members of the HOF committee included Lee Lockwood, President; Otis Haymon, President-elect; Charles Dubois, and Edwina Prescott, Secretary-Treasurer. BRHS Perfect Scores on ACT and SAT

The BRHS Foundation would like to congratulate Marcus Schafer, Khanh Pham, Jonathan Poss, and Steven Guo on their perfect scores. Baton Rouge High School Senior Jonathan Poss scored a 36 on the ACT and a 1600 on the SAT. According to PrepScholar.com, out of the 1.7 million students who take the test every year, only about 300 get the highest possible SAT score. The BRHS Foundation announces the establishment of this special honor which recognizes an individual who has had a transformational impact on Baton Rouge High School as an educational institution. Congrats to the Class of 1967!

  The Class of 1967 has raised $25,000 and will now have a classroom named in their honor. Class Years for Classrooms was established so that individual class years can raise funds among their classmates in order to have a campus space named in their honor. 1967 will join the class years of 1957, 1958, 1959, 1964, 1966 and 1984 and have a recognition plaque displayed next to a classroom at Baton Rouge High School. BRHS Continues the Legacy of Excellence

Eleven Perfect ACT Scores Two more Baton Rouge High School Seniors earned a perfect 36 on the March ACT.
