Baton Rouge Magnet High School Seniors Named Coca-Cola Scholar Semifinalists Baton Rouge Magnet High School Seniors Ju-Woo Nho and Jay Iyer are among only 1609 high school seniors from across the country selected as Coca-Cola Scholar Semifinalists based on their academic excellence, leadership and service demonstrated in school and community activities. Four BRHS Seniors Named African American Scholars by the College Board

Baton Rouge High School Seniors Reagan Hamilton, Mordecai Logan, Alex Taylor, and Jonathan Thomas has been recognized as African American Scholars by the College Board National Recognition Program. Last Spring, an invitation was extended to African American Juniors who scored in the top 2.5% of PSAT/NMSQT test takers to submit an extensive application. According to College Board, “The AP Scholar Awards recognize high school students who have demonstrated exemplary college-level achievement on AP Exams.” AP Scholars must receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. AP Exams are college-level exams on specific subjects taken by high school students.
