Five 2026 Baton Rouge Magnet High School graduates are National Merit Scholarship recipients

Olivia Bryant, Charlotte Carpenter, Isha Pasala, Nicolas Peer and Brianna Warren each received annual scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000 for up to four years of undergraduate study. LSU hosts Region VII Science and Engineering Fair

High school students present their projects at the Louisiana Region VII Science and Engineering Fair on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the LSU Student Union in Baton Rouge, La.

LSU hosted the Region VII Science and Engineering Fair for middle and high school students Tuesday and Wednesday in the Royal Cotillion Ballroom. In the high school division, Berklee Zanders, a sophomore at Baton Rouge Magnet High School, won first place overall and received an international fair bid.
