From the Baton Rouge Gallery: As we approach the final weekend of THE REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCE, Juried High School Exhibition, we would like to congratulate this year’s winner Sofia Zhu, a senior at Baton Rouge Magnet High School, one final time, as well as the additional awardees and participating students whose work really came together for an exceptional show.
None of this could have been possible without the support and guidance from arts educators here in East Baton Rouge Parish who continue to inspire and motivate their students to continue pursuing their creative skills outside of the classroom.
The mission of Baton Rouge Gallery – center for contemporary art is to connect artists and audiences through exhibitions and innovative community programming. This includes connecting our community’s future art leaders to opportunities that allow them to see themselves at their best.
