The 2019 Hall of Fame Ceremony was a success! Bulldogs packed out the City Club to celebrate the six Honorees: Bob Armstrong (1966), Peggy Bullion (1967), John Engquist (1972), Sherri Hammond LeBas (1980), Dennis Lorio (1969) and Pam Miller Perkins (1965).
Board President, Mimi Riché gave the opening remarks. Principal Nanette McCann gave a state of the school address, highlighting both the current successes of the school, the traditions that continue, and what the future holds for BRHS. The Keynote speaker for the evening was BRHS Sophomore, Jay Iyer. Jay spoke about what he plans to accomplish in his future and how BRHS is able to prepare him to achieve those dreams in the field of science. All bulldog alumni in the room were inspired by Jay, and proud as he represents the next generation of Bulldogs. You can view Jay’s speech by clicking here: https://youtu.be/LIi6J-89BZc
The ceremony was again hosted by John Koontz, ‘86 and Hall of Fame member. Each honoree gave a short acceptance speech. There were many good memories of BRHS shared, along with sharing their wisdom and hopes for the future.
The 2019 Hall of Fame Ceremony was sponsored by the following Bulldog owned businesses: Inolect, Acura, and Glisson Properties. We are deeply grateful for their support!
