Your gifts remove barriers to learning. When students have what they need in the classrooms, science labs, performance stages and playing fields, they achieve and show the next generation the way.
Your gifts will:
Replace aging library computers
Purchase new athletic equipment
Provide needs for the visual arts programs
Continue support for Advanced Placement and Robotics
Leadership is graduates who care about Baton Rouge High School and want every student to have the opportunity to achieve and excel without barriers.
Leadership is also alumni, parents and friends who solve problems, motivate students and teachers, fuel innovation, share wisdom and experience, and provide all-important financial support.

Our 2018 Annual Appeal honorary chair is Cordell Haymon, Class of 1961. He was a leader in establishing the Foundation and had an important role in the success of the Raise Our Standards High Campaign, 2012-2016.
“Baton Rouge High prepared me well for a demanding post-secondary education, first as an undergrad at Rice University and then at the LSU Law School. Both of my children received strong foundations at BRHS. They went on to success at prestigious universities, obtained graduate degrees and built strong careers. I continue to support the school through the Baton Rouge High School Foundation because of the vital role it plays in educating and preparing many of our community’s best and brightest students to be the great leaders of the future.
Our support through the Foundation helps the school provides opportunities for enrichment to all its students, regardless of their financial circumstances.”
