Baton Rouge Magnet High School senior, Jay Iyer, has been named a Coca-Cola Scholar and will receive a $20,000 college scholarship.
Jay was among 1,609 Semifinalists who were selected from over 99,000 initial applicants and is now one of 150 students to receive the scholarship joining a “family of 6,450+ alumni who are leading positive change in their communities and around the world.”
Collectively, the Coca Cola Scholars Foundation will award $3.1 million in college scholarships to these outstanding young leaders.
