Meet the Board Monday: Robert Dampf, Class of 1972
Robert Dampf is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and attended Walnut Hills Elementary, Westdale Junior High, and Baton Rouge High School (C/O 1972). After graduating high school, he earned degrees from Southern Methodist University and Louisiana State University (LSU) Law School. He is a practicing lawyer in the mediation field and co-owner of Perry Dampf Dispute Solutions, as well as, an active member of and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of LSU. He is married to Courtney Dampf, and they have three children, Morgia, Ben, and Jack and six grandchildren.
BRHSF: Did you have a favorite teacher, club, sport or experience that made a long-term impact on you at BRHS?
RD: At BRHS I was an active member of the Key Club and was proud to serve as president. I was treasurer of the junior and senior class and was active in a number of organizations.
BRHSF: What made you decide to join the BRHSF Board?
RD: I was pleased to be asked to serve on this board as I have a strong commitment to public education.
