BRHS in the News:
Baton Rouge High School is ranked 377 out of 17,245 in the US News and World Report 2019 Best High Schools in the US and DC. That’s the top 2% nationally!
Faculty in the News:
BRHS Librarian, Betty Brackins has been selected as the EBR School District’s High School Technology Facilitator of the Year.
Carolyn Feinberg(Chemistry) and Josetta LeBeouf(Environmental Science) have been selected by the American Chemical Society’s BR Chapter as Teachers of the Year.
Students in the News:
Mu Alpha Theta won First Place in the Sweepstakes Category at the State Convention; this makes for their 19th consecutive year!
Science Olympiad won First Place in the State.
Senior, Logan Lewis placed first in State for shot put and discus throw. She was also recently recognized as the Baton Rouge Advocate’s Track and Field Star. She will be honored at their 34th Annual Star of Stars Ceremony on Monday, May 20th.
