Three Perfect ACT Scores — AGAIN!

Three more Baton Rouge High School Students received perfect scores on the ACT. From left to right; Junior Robert Chumbley, Sophomore Grace Qian and Sophomore Krishna Pochana, and all earned perfect scores of 36 on the February administration of the ACT. It was their 1st time taking the ACT since taking it as part of the Duke TIP program in the 7th grade.

On average, fewer than one-tenth of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn a top score. In the U.S. high school graduating class of 2016, only 2,235 out of nearly 2.1 million graduates who took the ACT earned a composite score of 36. In Louisiana, approximately 30 students earn perfect ACT scores each year. Baton Rouge High School currently has 9 students with perfect ACTs, two sophomores, three juniors, and four seniors.

Grace plays the Violin and is in Beta Club. Krishna is in Science Olympiad, Key Club and enjoys programming video games. Robert plays piano in the BRHS Jazz Band, likes writing, and enjoys learning languages.
