Three More Perfect Scores

Three more Baton Rouge High Students earn a perfect score on the ACT.   Orianne Luo, Ziying He, and Anusha Zaman earned perfect scores on the Fall 2017 ACT Exams. Seven Baton Rouge Magnet High School students earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT in 2017.

Over two million students took the ACT in 2017. Less than 1% could achieve a perfect score of 36. The national average composite score is 21, according to the ACT’s website.

In Louisiana, less than 20 students achieved a perfect score on the ACT in the last year. According to the Louisiana Department of Education, 41,132 public school students took the ACT during the 2016-2017 school year. That group of students achieved an average composite score of 19.6.

Orianne Luo is a Senior. She is the daughter of Yuanying Yuan and Binghao Luo. She is a National Merit Semifinalist and National AP Scholar. She is in Mu Alpha Theta and enjoys playing the violin. Luo plans on studying Statistics in college.

Ziying He is a Senior. She is the daughter of Chunhong Li and Hongzhi He. She is an AP National Scholar. She enjoys performing Classical Chinese dancing and plans to study Computer Sciences.

Anusha Zaman is a Junior. She is the daughter of Zakia Perveen and Hasan Zaman. She is an AP National Scholar. Last year, her Science Fair project placed 3rd in the International Science Fair and received a special award from the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
