Announcing our 2017 AP Scholars and 2018 National Merit Semi-Finalists

Baton Rouge High School is a nationally recognized Advanced Placement school. Students can earn college credit by participating in this challenging coursework. The Baton Rouge High School Foundation salutes those students from the 2017 school year who have not only taken these classes, but also received honors for high test scores. BRHS had 218 AP scholars for the 2017 school year. Of these 218 students, 2 were State AP Scholars and National Advanced Placement, 1 earned an AP National Diplomas as well as National Advanced Placement, 15 students were National AP Scholars as well as AP Scholars with Distinction, 56 received the  AP Scholars with Distinction Award, 32 received AP Scholars with Honors Award, and 112 were AP Scholars.

Baton Rouge High also recognized 20 students as National Merit Semi-Finalists. Ten of these students were National Merit Commented and 1 Semi-Finalist also received the National Hispanic Recognition.
